Prolonged sleep deprivation is associated with an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and stroke.<\/li>\n\n<li class=\"eplus-wrapper\">According to studies <strong>Lack of sleep alters brain activity<\/strong>. People who are sleep-deprived have difficulty making decisions and solving problems, controlling emotions and behaviour. The main component CBD is also used in the treatment of anxiety, traumatic disorders and stress.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">In our<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hempions.com\/en\/health\/cbd-cannabidiol\/\"> Articles on Cannabidiol (CBD)<\/a><\/strong> you can find out more about the general effects and possible applications.<br>There are several reasons why people find it difficult to sleep.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Below we list the most important ones and why CBD can help treat them.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">CBD for better sleep with mental problems<\/h3><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder often lead to sleep deprivation.<br>A study on CBD in depression indicated that there is a positive interaction between CBD and serotonin receptors in the brain.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Among other things, serotonin influences the emotional state of happiness. A balanced serotonin level is often a key therapy for people with depression.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">In addition, another study with CBD shows positive results for sheep-loss and anxiety. In the study, taking 25 mg of CBD daily for 1 month showed the following:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-475a02\"><li class=\"eplus-wrapper\">79.2 % of all participants reported that CBD led to lower levels of anxiety.<\/li>\n\n<li class=\"eplus-wrapper\">66.7 % of all participants reported that CBD gave them a better sleep experience.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">CBD for sleep problems due to stress<\/h3><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Too much physical and mental stress often leads to sleep problems. A study from the USA confirms the link between cannabinoids such as CBD and stress.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Among other things, CBD is said to improve the body's ability to adapt to stress. CBD is also generally considered to be calming and stress-relieving.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">CBD for insomnia due to pain<\/h3><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Another factor that can contribute to insomnia is pain of any form. A study conducted by the renowned journal Frontiers in Pharmacology reports that CBD can reduce pain.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Less pain simultaneously increases well-being and thus also the quality of sleep.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"anwendung\"><strong>Use of CBD for better sleep<\/strong><\/h2><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">Our recommendation: organic CBD extracts<\/h3><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Natural full CBD extracts have the highest proportion of other cannabinoids in addition to CBD itself.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The extracts also contain valuable terpenes (fragrances) and flavonoids (secondary plant substances), which are said to have positive properties.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hempions.com\/en\/hemp-food\/\">Hemp products<\/a> from organic cultivation also provide more security in terms of pollutant content and sustainable cultivation.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">Dosage recommendations<\/h3><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">For the dosage recommendation, we refer to the aforementioned study on the use of CBD for insomnia and anxiety by Dr Scott Shannon.<\/p><p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">In the study, patients with insomnia consumed 25 mg of CBD daily after dinner.
