Preparation

  1. First put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender with a rotating blade. Blend until you have a firm, even mixture.
  2. Form equal-sized balls with a diameter of about 2 cm from the mixture.
  3. Optionally, you can roll the balls in unhulled hemp seeds.
  4. Then place the balls on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Tip: Energy balls coated with hemp seeds are the better choice for on the go, because they don't stick together. If you want to recharge your batteries as quickly as possible, you can skip the chilling and enjoy the hemp energy balls directly. For the ultimate omega boost, you can also replace the coconut oil in the recipe with hemp oil premium. This gives the hemp energy balls an even more intense chocolate-nut flavour.
